Humanitarian Financing

The UN & Partners 2014 Humanitarian Work Plan appeals for US $995 million  to provide life-saving assistance in Sudan. Currently, this appeal is 6.4% funded.

In 2013, the Common Humanitarian Fund (CHF) has allocated $66.7M to support urgent humanitarian projects through regular Standard Allocations and additional Emergency Allocations as situations arise. The 2014 Standard Allocations round is now in process. Project information for all CHF projects, as well as guidelines on the CHF process, are available on HumanitarianResponse.info.

The Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) enhances response to time-critical emergencies and strengthens humanitarian response in underfunded emergencies.
