The UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Ukraine, Denise Brown, today condemned another wave of attacks impacting civilians and civilian infrastructure in areas hundreds of kilometres away from the front line.

Homes, water supply, health and sports facilities were damaged by the strikes in central, north-western and western parts of the country, including a pre-school in Lviv close to the border with Poland.

Ms. Brown highlighted that millions of people uprooted by the war are seeking refuge in these areas.
