ALLOCATION OVERVIEW
In 2023, a total of $75.1 million in contributions was received from the governments of Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, Sweden, Ireland, Italy, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, Finland, France, New Zealand, Japan, Luxembourg, Portugal, Türkiye and Estonia.
The Fund allocated $60 million through three allocations to scale up the responses to drought, floods and cholera in Oromia, Somali, SNNP and SWEP regions (First Reserve Allocation - $17M); to relocated and returned IDPs in Tigray, Afar, Oromia and Benishangul-Gumuz regions (First Standard Allocation - $35M); and to vulnerable populations in Amhara region (Second Reserve Allocation - $8M).
