OCHA Pakistan: Capacity Building Program (2023 - 2024)

Overview:

In 2023 and 2024, OCHA organized a total of 14 training sessions including ten session of Multisector Rapid Need Assessment (MSRNA) and four District Disaster Management Authorities (DDMAs) Capacity Building training sessions.

A total of 719 participants were trained, including 343 government officials, 261 NGO representatives, 72 INGO members, and 43 individuals from the United Nations. In total, 31 per cent of women participated in the training sessions. Of these, 84% were from the Humanitarian sector and 16% were Government officials. The objective of these sessions was to improve the emergency response preparedness for stakeholders ahead of the Monsoon season
